Sar Pass offers the magnificence of a beautiful verdant landscape and is a heaven for photographers, artists, and nature lovers. Set against a curtain of majestic Himalayan peaks wrapped in snow, the Sar Pass trek passes through some of the most scenic views ranging from forests to the meadows to the ice blankets. While trekking across the path from Tila Lotni to Biskeri Ridge, one has to pass by a small, usually frozen lake which means “Sar” in the local language of Himachal. Hence the name, Sar Pass! The trail passes through the thick forest and takes you to a winter wonderland that makes it fascinating.

Make your booking 15 days prior in advance. If you cancel the trek due to any reason, it is mandatory to notify us. Cancellation charges will only be effective from the date we get your request to cancel the trek.
If the trek gets cancelled from our side due to any reason (heavy snowfall, rainfall, natural disaster etc.) then the refund will not be initiated but we will arrange another trek.
Note :- If your trek starts once, and in between 2 or 4 days at the time of the trek, the weather gets bad or the trek route is closed for some reason due to which the trek cannot be done, then the company will not refund the any money to you.

The window of April to October is ideal for the Sar Pass trek, since the snow cover at lower altitudes has melted away, leaving behind a quilt of fresh greenery. Though there will be good amount of snow on higher altitudes. After October, the snow cover is too high to attempt the trek.
The cost of a trek to Sar Pass can range between INR 5,000 to INR 9,000 per person which depends on the number of days included and the distance covered. The whole price is also dependent on the inclusions of the package like the meals, the travel assistance, the extra charges of entry to the reserved areas, and other additional expenses.
In the month of May, the level of snow is considerably higher than during the successive months. Further, in June, the snow begins to melt, and leaves a fresh green trail. Although the weather conditions are ideal during these months, above 4,000 meters, things can change drastically.
The Sar Pass trekking distance is 40 to 50 KM in 5 days from the starting point of Kasol and back to the base again. Situated at an elevation of 13,800 feet, the Sar pass trek is an ideal trek for beginners in the Kull region of Himachal Pradesh.
For Sar Pass trekking, you are required to pack some necessary items including your trekking equipment, a large bag pack that can carry all your essential articles. Don’t forget to carry and wear multiple layers of clothing along with sturdy shoes, preferred if they are boots. Sunglasses, sunscreen lotion, moisturizers are also things you must not forget.
