The Nag Tibba trek height is perched at an altitude of 9,910 feet from the ground and regarded as the highest summit of the Garhwal Himalayas. From this peak, you can take a glimpse of several lower summits like the Doon valley, Kedarkantha peak, and various others. Getting to Nag Tibba is an easy one as you can take a direct flight, train or bus to Dehradun after which you can hire a private taxi or local bus that will take you the Pantwari village. From this point, you can trek to Nag Tibba as it is just 8 km.
Nag Tibba Trek is located at an elevation of about 3050 meters above the sea level in Garhwal Region of Lower Himalayas. This trek lets you capture the amazing and crystal clear views of Bandarpunch peak, Kedarnath peak, and Chanabang peaks. The trek is located about 90 km from Dehradun and about 60 km from Mussoorie. You need a good amount of cardiovascular endurance to complete this expedition and for that, you can do jogging or simple exercises every day before the start of the trek. Squats will also be a good option to gain strength in order to keep the targets on the trek easy.
For flexibility, you need to do some stretching exercises regularly and it will help you get rid of muscle related problems.

The trekking season starts in March usually and there will be snow in the region but the end of the March will make the snow disappear and then the days will be sunny. Also, there will be moderate hot during day time ranging to 20 to 25* Celsius. But the night temperature will come around 08-13 degree Celsius.
During monsoon, there will be rain most of the days and at the top portions, rain will be comparatively lesser. After monsoon, from September to December, the day time will be sunny but the temperature will remain around 14-18 degree Celsius and in the evenings, it drops down to 10 degree or so.
Your Nag Tibba trek starting point is your journey from Dehradun and then you will reach to Pantwari village. After Pantwari village you will hit Campsite i.e. Camp-1 and finally, from Campsite your journey to Nag Tibba peak will start.
The Nag Tibba trek difficulty level can be considered as easy to moderate as the maximum altitude that you will pass in the course of this trek would be 9,910 ft. above the sea level with a number of steep sections and gradual terrain.

A person joining this trek is required to have an average fitness level. Also, if you have any medical problems like heart disease, breath problems, back pains etcetera cannot join the trek.
The Nag Tibba trek length is about 15 km from the base camp that is situated in Pantwari. Pantwari is located at a distance of 60 km from the city center of Mussoorie. It would take you around 7 – 8 hours to reach the summit from the base camp if at all you have a decent level of physical fitness or else you can choose to stay in the campsites and trek slowly.

Please do not carry the normal sports shoes. As you need the good traction during the Nag Tibba trek, shoes from Woodland or Forclaz 500 is a recommended choice.
As the temperature is cold throughout the trek with the possibilities of rain, we recommend that you carry woolen clothes, which can be full sleeves woolen sweater, thermal inner wear, windproof jacket, etc. along with a raincoat.
