Itinerary

Day 1 : Drive From Dehradun To Sankri Base Village (198 Kilometers, 8-9 Hours’ Drive )

The group will assemble at the pickup point at 06:30 AM.
We’ll drive towards Sankri village which is the base camp for the Kedarkantha Trek.
Upon reaching Sankri, we’ll check in to our designated homestay / Hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure and travelers are advised to rest.
In the evening, Dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay in Sankri Village.

Day 2 : Trek from Sankri to Juda Ka Taal (4 Kilometers, 4 Hours Trek)

After early morning breakfast, a small briefing session would be conducted by the trek leader where all the necessary details about the rest of the day will be shared.
We will start our trekking journey. En route to our campsite, we’d be traversing through lush green forests consisting of pine trees with the Swargrohini Massif in the backdrop beckoning you closer.
We will reach Juda Ka Taal after five hours of trekking. Upon reaching our campsite, we will have lunch.
The rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner will be served in the evening followed by an overnight stay at Juda Ka Taal Campsite.

Day 3 : Juda Ka Taal To Kedarkantha Base Camp (3 Kilometers, 3 Hours Trek)

The day will start with morning tea followed by breakfast.

The Trek Leader will give you a briefing about the day before we proceed.

Afterward, we’ll start the trek towards the Kedarkantha Base Camp, which takes about 3-4 hours.

Upon reaching and checking into the campsite, we’ll have a warm lunch.

The rest of the day is at leisure and we’ll relax by indulging in activities like snowball fights and other fun games.

Lastly, we’ll have dinner at the campsite followed by an overnight stay at Kedarkantha Base Camp.

Day 4 : Trek To Kedarkantha Peak | Back To Juda ka Taal (9 Kilometers, 8 Hours Trek)

We will finally begin our trek towards Kedarkantha Peak.
We’ll get up at 02:00 AM as we’ll be needing an early start.
Afterwards, the group will trek up to the Kedarkantha Summit.
After reaching the summit, we’ll enjoy the view from the top and witness the beautiful sunrise from the summit.
Shortly afterward, we’ll head back to the Kedarkantha Base Camp once again.
Upon reaching, Lunch will be served at the campsite.
It’s the last night at the campsite so we will have a farewell bash.
Overnight stay at Juda ka Taal campsite.

Day 5 : Juda ka Taal To Sankri (4 Kilometers, 4 Hours Trek) | Back To Dehradun (8 Hours Drive)

After early morning breakfast, we’ll head down towards the Sankri Village from Juda ka Taal.
Upon reaching Sankri, we’ll stop and freshen up at our designated hotel, and lunch will be provided.
Shortly afterward, we’ll proceed towards Dehradun. (Reach Dehradun by late evening.)
The group will disassemble here and be on their separate ways with a heart full of contentment and a mind full of memories.

You can book your tour with us at 20% advance to get the confirmation.
Confirmation will be expedited within 24 hours (one working days) after the booking amount.
Balance payment is to be made on arrival at the pickup location before the commencement of the tour.

Cancellation Policy

Make your booking 15 days prior in advance. If you cancel the trek due to any reason, it is mandatory to notify us. Cancellation charges will only be effective from the date we get your request to cancel the trek.
If the trek gets cancelled from our side due to any reason (heavy snowfall, rainfall, natural disaster etc.) then the refund will not be initiated but we will arrange another trek.
Note :- If your trek starts once, and in between 2 or 4 days at the time of the trek, the weather gets bad or the trek route is closed for some reason due to which the trek cannot be done, then the company will not refund the any money to you.

All the preparations of the company are behind this, for which you cannot blame the company.
The company can suggest some other good and safe trek for you at that time – which will be done at the same cost.
And if it does not happen near that place then it would be better to cancel the trek.

Kedarnath and Kedarkantha are not the same. The distance between Kedarkantha and Kedarnath is around 370 km by road. They are a 12-hour-journey away from each other.
Kedarkantha is a Himalayan summit in the Govind Pashu Vihar National Park in Uttarakhand. It is a popular trekking trail that takes trekkers to the top of a summit, from where you see fantastic views of the Garhwal Himalayas. How long is Kedarkantha Trek?

Kedarkantha Trek is an 20 km long trek that spans over 5 days. On the first day, you trek for about 5 km for about 4 hours. The second day is shorter where you trek for about 3 km over 3 hours.

The third day is the longest day of the trek as you trek to the summit and come back to the next campsite. On this day, you trek about 6 km over 6-7 hours. On the last day, you trek for 4-5 km again over 5 hours.

Network and connectivity are sparse in Kedarkantha. But there are few locations where you can rely on a good network for communication on the trek route.

The last ATM en route to the base camp is in Mori. Mori has an SBI bank with an ATM attached to it. However, the ATM is empty of cash many times. In such a case, you may head out to an SBI authorized cash withdrawal centre.
