Grahan Trek takes 3-4 hours to reach Grahan from the Kasol bus top and hiking is the only option to reach Grahan. The Grahan Trek is marked with signboards by locals so that it becomes easy to reach there without taking much time. Most of the time this trek remains unexplored by travelers and trekkers.
Situated at an altitude of around 7500 feet is home to no more than 300 villagers and about 30-40 houses. Consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited in Grahan and travelers not adhering to it are either imposed a heavy fine or thrown out of the village. The only way to reach the village is by a small hike starting from Kasol and has no mobile network or ATM. You will find basic accommodation in Grahan village, either guest house or homestay run by the local community.

Misty morning, tall trees, untouched hills, and a breath of fresh air – this exactly what Kasol is! Upon reaching Kasol and a touch of walking, reach your campsite.
Enjoy the greener and a happier space by the riverside. Take some rest and have your fill of breakfast. Once you’re up and prepared , explore the ‘Little Amsterdam’ while making our thanks to Chalal. While a rehearse the lanes of Kasol, you’ll notice many Israeli cafes and shops to shop for your souvenirs from.
Gradually, we’ll walk towards, what’s referred to as Trance and Psychedelic party village- Chalaal. this tiny village is tucked within the conifer dense forest. The walk doesn’t take quite 2 hours hyphenated with breaks. One can sit at the top of the village admiring the sweetness of a fiercely flowing Parvati river. Later within the evening, come to the camping site; dance the night away round the bonfire while having taste-buds teasing dinner.
The trek to Grahan village starts from Kasol, and one would roughly take 4 hrs-5 hrs to hide a distance of 9kms.
The trail begins right before the bridge that falls before the Kasol central bus-stand. The track is more or less marked-out with red arrows throughout, but still, there’s a good chance that you simply will stray , aesthetically.
During the hike, one would undergo dense forests intermittent with the sound of birds and therefore the buzzing of bees there’s one element that won’t leave you all the way- Parvati river.
One would also cross two wooden bridges, and by the time one would encounter the second bridge, it might mark the halfway point of the trek.
It is only within the last 150 meters of the hike that one would start to ascertain the homes within the village and what a view it’s . Mostly the homes are inbuilt a standard way and a few of them are almost 200-250 years old.
Roam round the village and play along side the youngsters who are going to be found at every nook and corner of the village. At night, have your piping hot meal round the warmth of the bonfire while taking note of the sound of silence.
We’ll meet at 4 p.m. at our hotel in Luzern (Lucerne) for a “Welcome to Switzerland” meeting. Then we’ll take a meandering evening walk through Switzerland’s most charming lakeside town, and get acquainted with one another over dinner together. Sleep in Luzern (2 nights). No bus. Walking: light.
Make your booking 15 days prior in advance. If you cancel the trek due to any reason, it is mandatory to notify us. Cancellation charges will only be effective from the date we get your request to cancel the trek.
If the trek gets cancelled from our side due to any reason (heavy snowfall, rainfall, natural disaster etc.) then the refund will not be initiated but we will arrange another trek.
Note :- If your trek starts once, and in between 2 or 4 days at the time of the trek, the weather gets bad or the trek route is closed for some reason due to which the trek cannot be done, then the company will not refund the any money to you.

The best time to do the Grahan village trek is in between the months of April to December as the weather remains pleasant and cool for the visitors to explore the beauty of this trek and place.
During this time you will be able to witness the lush green coniferous vegetation on the hills of Grahan Village which will give you an astonishing view to capture in your eyes and cameras.
The Grahan village trek is 2 days and 1 night long trek which is full of activities and challenging trekking surface.
The trek is full of thrill and which will require you to push yourself with nature and the special skills to summit the trek.
The difficulty level of Grahan Trek is not so difficult in comparison to the other long treks of Kasol. The Grahan trek is a 4 -5 hours trek that will start from the last bus stand of Kasol.
The trek path is marked with the help of red arrows through the Grahan trek and you will be walking alongside the Parvati river which will keep you realizing the beauty of the hill station and its trek.
