Located in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand, the temple is situated at an altitude of approximately 3,289 meters and is surrounded by lush meadows, dense forests and spectacular snow-covered peaks.

According to legend, the navel or middle part of Lord Shiva appeared at this sacred location. The trek begins from Ransi Village and passes through scenic mountain villages, waterfalls, forests and peaceful Himalayan trails. Near the main temple, Budha Madmaheshwar is a beautiful sacred spot known for its mesmerizing sunrise views.

Day-wise Itinerary

Report at Akshardham Metro Station, Gate No. 1, Delhi by 9:30 PM and meet your Trip Captain and fellow travelers.

Begin the overnight journey towards Rishikesh in a Car, MUV, SUV or Tempo Traveller depending on the group size.

Enjoy the scenic night drive as you begin your journey towards the Himalayan region.

After reaching Rishikesh, begin the scenic drive towards Ransi Village through the beautiful valleys of Uttarakhand.

En route, visit the sacred Devprayag Sangam, where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi Rivers merge to form the holy Ganga.

Continue towards Dhari Devi Temple and seek blessings before visiting Omkareshwar Temple in Ukhimath, the winter seat associated with Kedarnath and Madmaheshwar.

Reach Ransi Village by evening, check into the homestay, enjoy freshly prepared dinner and relax overnight.

Wake up early and have breakfast before beginning the trek at approximately 6:30 AM towards Madhyamaheshwar Temple.

The scenic 16–17 KM trek passes through dense forests, mountain trails and breathtaking Himalayan landscapes.

Upon reaching the temple at an altitude of approximately 3,490 meters, experience the peaceful spiritual atmosphere surrounded by majestic Himalayan peaks.

After darshan, settle into the homestay or camps near the temple for an overnight stay on multiple sharing basis.

Wake up early in the morning and visit Budha Madmaheshwar to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the Himalayan peaks.

Return to the stay and enjoy breakfast amidst the peaceful mountain surroundings.

Later, begin the trek back towards Ransi Village, enjoying the scenic trails and natural beauty along the way.

Reach Ransi by evening and board the vehicle for the overnight journey back to Delhi.

Arrival in Delhi will be by early morning the next day.

  • Booking is confirmed only after successful payment.
  • Participants must carry a valid Government Photo ID.
  • The minimum age to participate is 19 years.
  • A minimum group size of 10 participants is required to operate the trek.
  • Trek itinerary may be modified due to weather conditions or safety reasons.
  • Participants must follow all instructions given by the Trek Leader.
  • Proper trekking shoes and required trekking gear are mandatory.
  • Participants leaving the trek midway will bear their own transportation expenses.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation made 60 Days or more before departure – 100% Refund.
  • Cancellation made between 45 to 59 Days before departure – 75% Refund.
  • Cancellation made between 30 to 44 Days before departure – 50% Refund.
  • No refund is applicable for cancellations made within 30 days of departure or for No Show cases.
  • A processing charge of ₹2,000 per person will be deducted from all eligible refunds.
  • Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days after cancellation approval.
