Day-wise Itinerary
Begin your journey from Akshardham Metro Station, Delhi, at around 10:30 PM. Board the comfortable vehicle and start your overnight journey towards Haridwar, preparing for an exciting spiritual and Himalayan adventure.
After breakfast, begin your scenic drive towards Guptkashi, covering approximately 210 KM. Travel through the beautiful Devprayag and Rudraprayag route while enjoying breathtaking views of the Alaknanda and Mandakini Rivers. On arrival at Guptkashi, visit the sacred Ardh Narishwar Temple and offer your prayers before checking into the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, continue towards the Kedarnath route and begin your sacred journey to Kedarnath Temple. The route covers approximately 30 KM by road followed by around 19 KM of trekking. Walk through the beautiful Himalayan landscape and experience the spiritual atmosphere surrounding the sacred shrine of Lord Shiva. After reaching Kedarnath, seek blessings at the temple and spend the night near the shrine.
After completing your morning prayers and breakfast, begin your return journey from Kedarnath towards Guptkashi. Descend through the Himalayan trail and meet your driver at the designated point before continuing by road. Reach Guptkashi and check into your hotel. Depending on the itinerary and conditions, the group may continue towards Chopta or stay overnight at Guptkashi.
Wake up early and begin your journey towards Chopta and the sacred Tungnath Temple. Start the approximately 3.5 KM trek to Tungnath, one of the highest Shiva temples in the world. As you ascend, enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding Himalayan ranges. If the group is active and weather conditions permit, continue towards Chandrashila for even more spectacular mountain views. Return from the trek and continue your journey towards Rishikesh, reaching by evening or night for an overnight stay.
After breakfast and freshening up, begin your return journey towards Delhi via Haridwar. Spend some time exploring Rishikesh, the Yoga Capital of the World, known for its spiritual atmosphere and the holy River Ganga flowing through the Shivalik foothills. Continue your drive towards Delhi, marking the end of your memorable Kedarnath and Chopta Tungnath journey.
